Stray Kids' 'District 9: Unlock' Manila Concert Has Been Rescheduled Amid COVID-19 Fears

It's another tour affected by the threat of COVID-19.

Due to the threat of coronavirus disease or COVID-19, the Manila leg of K-pop group Stray Kids' District 9: Unlock world tour has been rescheduled from April to June.

Concert organizer PULP Live World made the announcement on its Facebook page on March 10.

"Stray Kids will see you again soon," read its post.

The group was supposed to perform in Manila on April 25 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, but due to the rising number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, the concert has been moved to June 20, 2020.

Stray Kids' agency, JYP Entertainment, also shared an announcement on its My Fan's site.

"Stray Kids World Tour 'District 9: Unlock' in MANILA scheduled for April 25th, 2020 at Mall Of Asia Arena has unfortunately been postponed to June 20th, 2020 due to the recent proliferation of the COVID-19," the post read.

"We ask for your understanding as this decision has been made in consideration for the safety of the artists and audience. We sincerely apologize to all fans who anticipated Stray Kids' concert."

Stray Kids was formed in 2017. Its members include Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N.
