Taylor Swift showed her appreciation for her 1989 tour crew by treating them to a vacation in Australia!
Tay-tay is preparing to wrap her 85-day tour which spanned four continents on December 12, and to celebrate, she recently took her 125-person crew to Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef for a break.
"So stoked to be able to take my band and crew on a vacation at the end of a long and wonderful tour," Taylor writes on IG. "For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it.
"Thank you to Hamilton Island for taking such great care of 125 of the people who work tirelessly to make sure the 1989 World Tour stage gets built, the lights are on, the costumes are made, the guitars are tuned, and the show goes on..."
The tour comes to a close at AAMI Park in Melbourne one day before Taylor's 26th birthday on December 13. Reports suggested the pop star was planning to fly her famous friends and boyfriend, Calvin Harris, out to Australia for a big party, but Taylor insists the celebrations will be much more low-key.
"Aussie press, I love your enthusiasm but my birthday isn't for 2 weeks and it'll be a quiet one this year," she continues. "Let's take it down a notch."
