Why: The much-anticipated DC Comics film starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn srsly did not live up to the hype. In other words, it BOMBED.

Why: Marvel veered away from its family friendly big blockbusters with its first R-Rated film starring Ryan Reynolds as the crass and sexy AF anti-hero Deadpool.

Why: Still scary AF the second time around. A word of warning: Never watch these films alone.

Why: Watching Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. battling it out in sexy spandex (or armor)?! YES, PLEASE.

Why: The movie adaptation of the bestselling tearjerker stars an on-screen couple we srsly ship IRL: Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin.

Why: This Spanish drama/thriller is just waaaay twisted. Why? One word: necrophilia.

8. Beauty and the Bestie

Why: The MMFF 2015 blockbuster comedy starred Vice Ganda (but, of course) and Coco Martin as his leading man.

Why: Yup, as the title suggests, this Korean drama thriller is all about a mysterious deadly virus that spreads across key cities.

Why: We not only were introduced to Ben Affleck’s Batman and a cameo from Ezra Miller’s The Flash, but the film gave us the Wonder Woman of the Year Gal Gadot
