The thought of traveling solo can be daunting for some but there are some fearless women out there who are brave enough to venture out on their own. For starters, there are safe destinations to visit, especially for women solo travelers.
In her latest vlog published on May 5, Yassi Pressman traveled solo for the first time to the beautiful island of El Nido in Palawan.
In the video description, Yassi wrote that her adventure was a solo overnight weekend trip that was “spontaneously booked the night before, taking the earliest flight out of the city the next day, to reflect, to pray, and to be able to give myself the joy of doing something I've always wanted to do—travel alone. And guess what? I had so much fun!”
In the five-minute video, Yassi explored some caves, went hiking and snorkeling, and even spotted a rare bird. She also shared footage of her simple lunch of rice and fish.
Yassi's takeaway from her quick solo trip is that she had plenty of time to reflect, appreciate, and be grateful, and she learned how to take care of herself.
