On September 4, 2020, it was announced that Pinoy YouTuber Lloyd Cadena passed away via a post on his official Facebook page. The family has asked the public for privacy during this difficult time.

When the news of the 26-year-old YouTuber's untimely passing broke, his friends and colleagues from the industry were quick to post tributes through tweets. Among them are Fil-Am artist AJ Rafael and comedian Mikey Bustos, both of whom were some of the Filipino pioneers on YouTube. 

"I love you, man. Thank you for being one of the funniest and kindest souls. RIP, my friend," AJ wrote. "Good times with you, Lloyd!!! I’ll always remember those moments. We’re gonna miss you," he followed up.

Macoy Dubs, the content creator behind the famous Auntie Julie, asked his followers to pray for Lloyd. Macoy and Lloyd go way back, as they were schoolmates during their college years in Letran.
