On September 4, 2020, it was announced that Pinoy YouTuber Lloyd Cadena passed away via a post on his official Facebook page. The family has asked the public for privacy during this difficult time.

When the news of the 26-year-old YouTuber's untimely passing broke, his friends and colleagues from the industry were quick to post tributes through tweets. Among them are Fil-Am artist AJ Rafael and comedian Mikey Bustos, both of whom were some of the Filipino pioneers on YouTube.
"I love you, man. Thank you for being one of the funniest and kindest souls. RIP, my friend," AJ wrote. "Good times with you, Lloyd!!! I’ll always remember those moments. We’re gonna miss you," he followed up.

Lloyd's bestfriend, best known to his viewers as Madam Ely tweeted about the loss of his bestfriend:
Macoy Dubs, the content creator behind the famous Auntie Julie, asked his followers to pray for Lloyd. Macoy and Lloyd go way back, as they were schoolmates during their college years in Letran.
Influencer Richard Juan also shared his experience working with Lloyd: "Not a lot of you may remember this, but one of the first collabs I ever did was with Lloyd Cadena (he agreed to collab with me when I was literally at less than 10k subs!). Lloyd was one of the funniest, non-toxic, and humble YouTuber I've ever met. Thank you Lloyd; RIP."
Actress Maris Racal also chimed in and shared that the YouTuber was "a joy to watch."

Marvin Fojas shared a sweet message he received from Lloyd back in May. He also shared that Lloyd served as a huge inspiration for him and his content.
Alex Gonzaga, who once collaborated with Lloyd, also paid tribute to him: "Marami kami napasaya at napatawa mo.. We will miss how your laugh can make us laugh.. We will miss you.. Let's pray for his whole family and friends.. ang lungkot talaga bigla grabe."
Saab Magalona and Bianca Gonzalez also tweeted about Lloyd's passing:
Janina Vela, another OG of the Pinoy YouTube community tweeted: "Lloyd had one of the biggest and most genuine hearts of the YouTubePH community. He was always filled with kindness, warmth and joy. Maraming salamat, mahal na mahal ka namin."
Maine Mendoza recalls how happy she is that she met Lloyd and was able to tell him how he made so many people happy.
