Initially, when Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid announced their split on Tuesday [March 13], fans were impressed by how amicable it all seemed. Zayn said he had a "huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi," while Gigi outlined how she wants "nothing but the best for [Zayn] and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for".
Since, though, a cryptic Instagram post from Gigi's mom Yolanda has shed a little more light on the relationship, and now, fans think Zayn's sister might have just shaded
Safaa Malik's post, which has since been deleted, read, "Don't get mad. Don't get even. Do better. Much better. Become so engulfed in your own success & happiness that you forget it ever happened."
She captioned the quote, "Horrible people get nowhere".
The Metro says fans commented on the post questioning whether it was aimed at Gigi, with one writing, "You wrote this for Zayn cause he broke up?" and another adding, "Omg spill that tea sister".
The deleted Instagram comes as Gigi's mom Yolanda also shared her opinion on the split on Instagram, reposting a quote which read: "The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open."
She added the caption, "And so it is....... #Life"
C'mon then G and Z, spill the tea.
