PSA: Check Out This Super Helpful COVID-19 Explainer In Sign Language

Let's all work together to keep everybody informed.

On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus (COVID-19) a pandemic—defined as “the worldwide spread of a new disease.” Shortly after, President Rodrigo Duterte held a press conference to address the country’s concerns and announce the measures we’ll be taking to prevent the spread of this disease.

There’s currently ~a lot~ of information going around right now. Unfortunately, not all of them can be trusted (read: fake news) and very few reports take PWDs in consideration.

To remedy this, Carlo Barrios, Vea Ladeza, and Marianne Cacacho wrote a summary on COVID-19; JL Eijansantos, who represents the deaf community, explained it in sign language.
