Last spring, mother of two Jennifer Cutrona was randomly attacked by a man lurking along the wooded path where she was running, according to Fox59. Like most women who run alone, she was completely unarmed—and felt lucky AF to get away from the perp in one piece.
The next day, Cutrona sewed a sheath into her sports bra so she could carry a knife whenever she hits the trails alone.
Now she's patented her design (as seen above) and gone into production selling supportive sports bras that allow you to safely secure a small knife or a pocket-size pepper spray to your body and make it easily accessible for an effective defense. Just In Case Knife Bras, ($54.99 plus $12.99 for the knife), and Just In Case Pepper Spray Bras ($49.99 plus $11.99 for the pepper gel) are now available at BoobyTrapBras.com.
While it's preeeetty ridiculous that women who run have to protect themselves from anything besides a running injury—damn you, shin splits!—the sad truth is that you really can't call this bra line a bad idea.
