K-pop artist SE7EN (real name Choi Dong Wook) tied the knot with K-drama actress Lee Da Hae on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Longtime friends before they started dating eight years ago, Da Hae has previously revealed that SE7EN actually asked her to go out with him during her birthday party!

The couple announced their engagement in separate statements on their personal social media accounts, to the delight of their fans.
"I promised marriage on May 6 with my girlfriend Lee Da Hae who has been with me through the ups and downs and has always embraced my lacking self with love for the past eight years," SE7EN shared. And although Da Hae shared that she's still more accustomed to calling SE7EN her boyfriend, she promised to become "a good wife who gives much strength and is more considerate to this person who has reliably protected my side and given me great happiness and who will now become my partner forever."

SE7EN and Da Hae were wed at the Shilla Seoul, where many other celebs got married. Take a look at their embossed wedding invitation on handmade paper: The invite says "Hea7en cordially invite...", a cute portmanteau of their names SE7EN and Hae!

The groom entertained his guests by dancing at his own wedding! After his amusing entrance, Da Hae walked down the aisle to a round of applause, before being escorted the rest of the way by her soon-to-be husband.

Comedians Kim Joon Ho and Jo Se Ho hosted the ceremony, and BIGBANG's Taeyang and Gummy were revealed to be the celebratory wedding singers. Here's a clip of Taeyang serenading the newlyweds and guests with his new song, "Seed."
Gummy left us crying thanks to her her soft, sentimental rendition of "You Are My Everything" from Descendants of the Sun (we need more than that 1-minute clip!), and SE7EN didn't pass up the chance to grab the mic—he sang his own song "Come Back To Me" while wearing a pair of wheelies/roller shoes, LOL!
Other Korean celebrities who attended SE7EN and Lee Da Hae's wedding include:
The original "YG family"
YG's OGs all came to show their support. We're talking Teddy Park, Gummy, Lee Soo Hyuk, 2NE1's Sandara Park, Minzy, and CL; and BIGBANG's G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung! 2NE1 debuted on May 6, 2009 with the single "Fire", so we hope the girls share a group photo on social media after. *fingers crossed*
Super Junior
Leeteuk, Heechul, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Kyuhyun, and former member Kangin arrived to celebrate this special day.
Kim Jaejoong
Overall, it was definitely a star-studded guest list, as expected since both bride and groom are veterans in the Korean showbiz industry! How many familiar faces turned up at the special celebration? So far fans have spotted Ahn Bohyun, SS501's Kim Hyun Joong, and Hong Kyungmin!
This wedding is turning out to be a major 1st to 2nd gen reunion of major names in K-pop—when was the last time current and former members of BIGBANG, 2NE1, Super Junior, TVXQ, and SS501 were all at the same event? OG fans will also remember Super Junior's famous Incheon Battle, and with all the major players lined up—main characters Leeteuk and Heechul, and unwilling spectators SE7EN, G-Dragon, and Taeyang—will we *finally* hear the YG boys' side of the story? *laughs*
