If there's one thing we realized after attending Suho's solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum last June 22, it's that there's really no place like (Su:)Home. Here at Cosmo, we are huuuuuge fans of EXO (since their debut in 2012!) and seeing a member perform live onstage made us all feelsy—especially because it's Suho, our dearest leader-nim.
Let's go back to that ~starry night~ and reminisce!
5 Memorable Moments During The 2024 Suho Concert SU:HOME in MANILA
1. When the stage was *revealed.*
Hear us out: Suho's concert had one of the most stunning stage designs in Manila's concert history. The team behind the event was able to execute a three-story house complete with a bed! It was so intricate and well thought out, and you could see it in the smallest details on the stage. Couple this with the amazing lights show that followed every beat of his songs plus the magical confetti shower and LED balls that were thrown around, and you had an extremely warm welcome to Suho's house.
2. When Suho serenaded us with his angelic voice.
There's nothing like hearing Suho's soothing vocals live! The K-pop artist performed his solo tracks such as "Morning Star," "Self-Portrait," "Hurdle," "Wishful Thinking," "Let's Love," "Moment," and "Made In You," among others. He aced both mellow and rock songs and we couldn't choose which side of him is our fave!
3. When he went down the stage.
Who would've thought that Suho would interact *this* closely with his fans? We were caught by surprise when the K-pop star went down the stage—and some lucky attendees even got the chance to touch his hand! One EXO-L's yellow rose was even picked by him while he was walking around the venue. This experience was not in our bingo card and we’ve been thinking about it for six straight days now.
4. When he looked back at his moments in Manila.
ICYDK, Suho has been to the PH twice last year: when he attended the 2023 Asia Artist Awards, and sang at the ON Music Festival. He remembered this during his ment and also shared, "Did you know that the starting point of the Su:Home world tour is in Manila? I think it's destiny for real." Aww!
He also added: “For the Manila EXO-Ls who have been cheering hard for me, thank you so much. I’m so relieved and happy that Manila is the first stop of this tour. Magsama tayo magpakailanman. Mahal kita. Manila, mahal kita."
5. When he performed a medley of EXO's songs.
Cue in the nostalgia! Suho had us all jumping and singing along to "Growl, " "Monster," and "Overdose" a.k.a some of EXO's hit tracks. This just proves that we are so ready for EXO Planet 6! But we have to admit that his performance of "First Snow" is our ultimate fave. It felt like it was Christmas in 2023 again—everyone was dancing to the song on TikTok, and everything just felt warm, cozy, and blissful. <3
