Red Velvet's love for Manila

We can say that Red Velvet is one of those girl groups who love coming back to the Philippines. In 2023 alone, the girl group visited the Philippines *twice.* Albeit incomplete, Red Velvet still gave their all to let Filipino Reveluvs feel their love and enthusiasm for all of them.

In May 2023, they had the Manila leg of their R to V Tour as a four-member group, as Joy unfortunately had to sit out of the concert due to health issues. Nonetheless, attendees had a blast at the sold-out show.

Months after their solo concert, three of their members actually went back to the Philippines to celebrate New Year's Eve with Filipinos. Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy were the biggest guests of Taguig's Bonifacio Global City New Year countdown last December 31, 2023. How cool, right?

Red Velvet's success through the years

Trained by SM Entertainment, Red Velvet officially made its debut in August 2014 with the title track, "Happiness." Within the 10 years of their career as a quintet, they successfully had continuous breakthroughs with their hit songs like, "Peek-A-Boo," "Red Flavor," "Russian Roulette," "Psycho," and more.

Recently, they have been exploring different fields in the entertainment industry. ICYDK, Irene and Seulgi became a sub-unit, IRENE & SEULGI. Meanwhile, Wendy has been pursuing solo activities. She recently had a collaboration with EXO's Suho, for the song called, "Cheese."
