Consider this a PSA, North-based homebodies: Anko, the Australian home and lifestyle brand, is opening its third store in Metro Manila!

ICYDK, the brand opened its first store in Glorietta 2 in Makati last November 2024. The second one found its home in Alabang Town Center, which obviously is for the Southies. Now, Anko's third store in the Philippines will soon open its doors in (*drum roll*) Ayala Malls TriNoma.

The news was unveiled through a teaser post on Anko's official social media accounts. And just recently, Anko also released their latest Home Living collection, which included a range of products specially curated for Filipinos—may it be for your family or just for you, who might be living solo and enjoying their foray into adulting rn.

In a quick chat with Cosmopolitan Philippines, Anko's Country Manager in the Philippines, Rachel Turner, shared that despite being an Australian brand, Anko believes it connects with the Philippine market through Australians' and Filipinos' strong bond with their families.

"We have learned when we first came to the Philippines that the Filipinos value home, and family above everything else. Those are values that we share as Australians. Australians value their family and we value our home. We're coming from the same place and I think that that gives us a great starting point to then work towards curating an even better range for the Philippines," Rachel tells Cosmo.

Say you're not exactly looking to fully furnish your space and just want to add a new piece of decor to change things up. Anko can help with too, Rachel emphasized, since each of their products is designed to improve your quality of living—no matter how big or small your space is. "We look at or have taken on local insights and feedback to create, to curate a range that solves specific Filipino consumer needs. A product needs to be functional, needs to solve a need, and be thoughtfully designed for the space that it's going to take up in your home. We build with quality in mind," Rachel further explained.

That goes for your sleeping habits too. They even have a silk pillowcase, which Rachel claims to be a treat to herself as a woman. "Silk pillowcases are good for preventing acne, and it helps prevent wrinkles," she shares. Interesting!
