Captain Marvel is about to hit the big screen, and everyone is curious and excited to see Brie Larson portray Carol Danvers. We all know she's spent the last year working out to play the part. More importantly, this is a big step for Marvel because it's set to be their first female superhero movie.
So how much money did Brie take home when she signed on to play Captain Marvel?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brie was paid more than other newcomers because she's set to appear in seven movies that tie her to other franchises. Girl's committed.
To compare, Robert Downey Jr. earned $500,000 for the first Iron Man movie; Chadwick Boseman's salary was around the $2 million mark for Black Panther, a figure that's expected to go up for the sequel.
