The Devil Wears Prada/20th Century Fox
If you’re familiar with the movie The Devil Wears Prada (Of course, you are!), you know that working in the fashion industry is incredibly tough. But with or without the Miranda Priestlys of the world, one thing remains true: it’s a job that a million girls would kill for.
With that in mind, WWD recently conducted a survey to find out the top companies where fashion girls today would want to work the most. Students from the leading fashion schools around the world participated in the study, and the results weren't surprising. The most sought-after company in the fashion industry? Chanel.
So what are the other companies where fashion girls dream to work at? LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Alexander Wang and Diane von Furstenberg.
Based on interviews, it’s also been revealed that many students are after companies with an established legacy and a positive working environment that also offer opportunities for career growth. They also take into consideration the company’s brand image, and they lean towards those who are pro feminism and women’s empowerment.
