Help Save the Laguna Pit Bulls

On March 30, 2012, over a hundred abused pit bulls in Laguna were rescued from dogfighting hell. Find out how you can give them a better life.

Loyal. Playful. Heart of Gold. Not exactly the words that come to mind when you think of a scruffy, ragged-eared pit bull whose notorious reputation has caused it to be largely misunderstood—and maltreated. Thankfully, organizations like Compassion and Responsibility for Animals (CARA) are working to change this stereotype and striving to make a difference in the lives of our furry friends. Cosmo went to Tiaong, Quezon and found four women from CARA Welfare Philippines who are spearheading this change.
