The annual Philippine International Hot Air Baloon Fiesta (PIHABF) is back on its 23rd year! The event, set to happen on March 6 to 8, 2020, is named "Flying Carnival 2020: A Weekend of Almost Everything That Flies."
This is supposed to be the 24th year of the longest-running aviation event in Asia since it started in 1996, but it was canceled in 2019 due to the lack of "commitment from government partners."
Now that it's back, it has also moved on to a new location.
For the first time, this event that features a display of colorful hot air balloons, aviation seminars, and more will be held at the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite. In the previous years, it has always been at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.
Events will start at 5:30 a.m. but the gates will already be open by 4:30 a.m. Make sure to catch the Night Glow at 6:30 p.m. and enjoy the different views and activities until the Fiesta grounds close at 9:30 p.m.
You can start purchasing tickets next week from Ticketnet outlets and website or the PIHABF's website. Tickets are priced at P500 per person/day for an Economy Class ticket, P3,500 per person/day for a Business Class ticket, and P6,500 per person/day for a First Class ticket. You may also purchase tickets on the event day itself at the Fiesta Info Booth Gates and ticketing booths which will open by 4:00 a.m.
