We all know her as Pia Wurtzbach, our 2015 Miss Universe, but it's high time that we get to know her beyond her role as a ~beauty queen~. In a "life update" video posted on her YouTube channel, Pia answered questions from fans about what she's been up to, how she deals with burnout, what her relationship is like, and what else is in store for her.
If you follow her on Instagram, you know that she's been traveling quite a bit, especially since she's now able to do a lot of her work remotely. Sharing more about her newfound work-life balance, Pia said that she was actually more stressed pre-pandemic. "Hindi ako marunong magpahinga noon. Grabe ako magtrabaho, as in tuloy-tuloy. Wala akong weekends...Minsan nga 'di ko na alam nun kung anong araw na, e. May mga times na mas madalas pa kong matulog sa kotse kaysa sa bed ko sa bahay..." After months of that, she realized that she felt like a robot. So much so that when she was asked what she did for fun during interviews, she didn't know what to say.

Like many of us, the pandemic reminded her that while work can bring you happiness and success, it's not the most important part of life.
Later in the video, she read a fan question about what her ~ultimate~ dream is, and Pia said, "'Wag kayong tatawa ha...theater. It's my big what-if in life."
She continued, "Ay nako, alam ko tatawa kayo at sasabihin niyo, 'Yung TV nga, movies, 'di mo magawa nang maayos.' Seriously, iba yung theatro sa TV, sa movies...ibang discipline 'yan. But I really have high, high respect for theater actors and actresses. Parang ibang mundo siya. It really takes a lot of talent and a lot of discipline to do it."
"Wala kasing cut, walang take two...you only get one chance to do it because live siya! Sa pagkakaintindi ko, kahit hindi mo lines, kailangan alam mo yung script nung buong scene...para alam niyo kung paano niyo sasaluhin yung isa't-isa kapag may nagkamali...basta, it's my big what-if in life."
