Pinoy Stars Pay Tribute To The Best Of Hollywood

Cosmo spotted some of the most popular names in local showbiz at the photo exhibit recreating scenes from some of the greatest Oscar-winning films of all time.

Yet Philippine showbiz still wanted to get a feel of the glitz and glamour of the Oscars, past and present.

That is precisely why Velvet held its second Tribute to the Oscars Photo Exhibit at the Ayala Museum in Makati City recently. The photo exhibit features different teams made up of local celebrities, photographers, makeup artists, and stylists that recreated scenes from 14 Oscar-winning movies.

The event was hosted by Joey Mead and co-presenters like Divine Lee and Director Joyce Bernal announced the winners. Karylle and Richard Poon also serenaded Oscar fans in between awards.

The Gold award went to "Casablanca," portrayed by Jericho Rosales and Maricar Reyes, with the help of makeup artist RB Chanco, stylist Kat Cruz, and photographer Ria Regino.
