In a small fishing village off the coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico is Las Coloradas, which is essentially one of the most picture-perfect destinations on the planet.

There, you'll find a lagoon with water in the prettiest pink hue we've ever seen. But the color isn't the result of pollution. The color actually comes from the dye naturally emitted by the red plankton and tiny brine shrimp that inhabit its waters.

The gorgeous landscape is, naturally, a hot spot for photo ops. The resulting pictures look almost too perfect to be real. Enjoy some of the best ones below, while we head off to book our tickets to Mexico.
