Best friends Grace (Selena Gomez) and Emma (Katie Cassidy), along with Grace’s stepsister Meg (Leighton Meester), fly out of Texas for what they hoped would be an amazing Parisian summer vacation. Of course, plans don’t always work out, and just as they were ready to give up, Grace is mistaken for a famous British socialite called Cordelia. All three girls fly out to Monte Carlo to attend an event Cordelia’s invited to, and that’s where things get really interesting.

Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is visiting Italy with her incredibly busy fiancé. While touring on her own, she stops by a popular wall where tourists leave their heartbroken letters to Juliet Capulet. There, she finds a letter from Claire (Vanessa Redgrave), written in 1957. Sophie reaches out to Claire and agrees to help her find her long-lost love, despite the disapproval of Claire’s grandson, Charlie (Christopher Egan).
