Celebrating Style!

Congrats, graduates! Donna clues us in on what to wear to a graduation ceremony.

Hi Ms. Donna!

I am a graduating student and i still don't know what to wear on my graduation day. Perhaps you could give me some suggestions. Thank you!

Hi Erika!

For graduation rites, I would suggest wearing a dress that is both simple and comfortable, like a shift dress or a classic-cut knee-length dress. Something sleek and simple since you don't want to add bulk under your toga.

Also, something in a natural fabric would be best so you won't get warm or itchy during the ceremony. This would be all the more important if the venue is not air-conditioned. Not going too trendy or glitzy will pay off in the future when you check out your pics when you were younger and you'll see how chic and classy you were.

Congratulations on your milestone!

Love, D
