With Undas or All Saints' Day break just around the corner, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is making preparations for those who will be traveling to their provinces.
It will be suspending the number coding scheme for both private and public vehicles on November 1.
Thousands of MMDA personnel will be deployed around the metro to provide assistance for the public going to cemeteries.
Random breathalzyer tests will be conducted on bus drivers to detect the intake of alcohol. Those failing the test can only drive again after resting.
Public assistance centers and ambulances will also be made available at major cemeteries.
