Carla Abellana Is Happily Engaged(!)—And The Internet's Celebrating With Her

Carla Abellana just proved to everyone that when it comes to love, nothing's ever too late. Today, December 1, 2025, Carla posted on Instagram that she's now engaged to her significant other, whose identity she has chosen not to reveal.

In the picture, someone is holding her hand, and fans immediately took notice of the sparkler on her ring finger—which appears to be an engagement ring.

Carla captioned the post with a Bible verse: "Jeremiah 29:11: 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." It's clear she's stepping into a year filled with promise and new beginnings.

Friends and fellow celebrities flooded the comments with congratulatory messages. Rabiya Mateo, Jessy Mendiola, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Max Collins all showed their love and support. 

Coney Reyes also joined the celebration and thanked the Lord for this blessing in Carla’s life.

Back in August 2025, Carla revealed she had returned to the dating scene after her 2024 divorce from Tom Rodriguez. She posted a candle-lit dinner photo on Instagram, and although she didn't explain the picture, sharp-eyed fans noticed she appeared to be with someone special.

A few days later, she confirmed on a news segment at 24 Oras that she was, indeed, dating someone. She didn't reveal any details, but she shared that she finally felt ready to open her heart again.

"I’ve said it naman na before that it's about time I open myself to dating, meeting new people, so I decided to try it," Carla said.
