A new romantic theme park is being build down the coast of Taiwan, and local media have already dubbed it a "sex park" [via The Wall Street Journal]. The "Romantic Boulevard" will feature fixtures like heart-shaped arches, scenic photo opportunities, and a glass church.
But the boulevard will end in what's being billed as the "finale" and, as is the case with most real-life romantic finales, it's all about the sex. The 100,000-square-foot park will feature "educational videos," erotic sculptures, and cryptically titled "interactive facilities." There will even be a nearby hotel if couples "want to turn their feelings into actions," said Shih Chao-hui, the deputy director of Southwest Coast National Scenic Area Office (they're overseeing the construction).
Singles don't have to miss out. An area of the park called "Lost Paradise" is designed specifically for the "broken-hearted," as Shih put it. So if you're ever feeling really down about being single, you can always go hang out at a special area of a sex park.
