Just a week after Anya Taylor-Joy broke the internet for her Best Actress win at the Golden Globes in her custom emerald green Dior gown, the 24-year-old actress went and done it again. At this year's Critics' Choice Awards, she wowed us with another Dior creation: A berry-colored tulle gown, complete with matching gloves.
Dior actually gave some ~insider~ info on the deets of Anya's gown to British Vogue and InStyle, and it came as no surprise when they shared that the gown took 200 (!!!) hours to make. A team of two people worked to sew this stunning frock, complete with the draped bodice and intricate macramé detailing in the midsection.
ICYDK, this isn't the first time Anya wore something that took *hundreds* of hours to make. Her custom emerald green Dior gown and cape that she wore for the 2021 Golden Globe Awards were completed after a painstaking 300 hours.
And in case you need any more reason to love the 24-year-old actress, it was revealed that she actually did her own hair and makeup for the awards show! Her hairstylist and MUA shared that they taught Anya how to do them via Zoom. The finished look? Bushy brows, dark lashes, a berry-colored lippie, and her hair tucked behind her ears with a few soft waves at the end.
Anya looking like an absolute *dream* for the Critics Choice Awards show wasn't in vain, too—she actually won Best Actress in a Movie/Miniseries! The Queen's Gambit also won the award for Best Limited Series.
Congratulations, Anya! We can't wait to see more of you this year!
