Designer To Watch For: Vania Romoff's Pretty Dresses For Formal Events

Occasions like a big date, a ball, or a wedding call for a special, one-of-a-kind outfit. Check out this young designer's creations in The Ramp Crossings.

The last thing we want to happen when we're attending grand, super-dressy occasions is to walk into a ballroom or a fancy restaurant--and come face-to-face with a woman wearing the exact same thing you have on. No matter how bongga we look that day, that would definitely cramp our style, won't it?

That's why some women turn to designers when they need special outfits for huge occasions like a wedding, a ball, a grand reunion/homecoming, and even a formal date in some five-star hotel or restaurant. That's why they invest several thousands of bucks on a single outfit--it has to be special, so they'll have it done by a good designer.

But not all of us have the luxury of walking into a famous designer's store and asking him or her to design this gown or cocktail dress for us. Thankfully, one of your favorite department stores, The Ramp Crossings, saw the talent of up-and-coming designer Vania Romoff and tapped her to do a 15-piece limited edition collection for them. The Ramp General Manager Xandra Ramos-Padilla spotted her striking designs at the launch of Cosmo's sister magazine Preview's Emerging Fashion Talent Awards last year. And voila! You now have a glamorous collection of dresses, in time for the Love Month and prom season (for our high school sisters and cousins).

Every item in her super limited collection looks dreamy, romantic, super feminine, and designed to make you feel extra pretty and elegant. They may cost a little more than your usual The Ramp faves, but they are a steal for their design, workmanship, and luxurious fabric--totally more affordable than usual couture. They're designer formalwear that you can easily pick out from the rack and wear!
