Here's the thing about yellow pit stains: You can't wash them off no matter how many times you throw your clothes in the washing machine. What causes them, anyway? You can blame your anti-perspirant or deodorant—the stains are a result of your deo and your sweat interacting. As a result, all your white shirts look kind of gross!
Lucky for you, we found a super easy fashion hack to get rid of it: mix equal parts of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and water together. Use a toothbrush to apply the solution to the pit stain, and leave it there for 30 minutes. Toss it in the washing machine after. Repeat if necessary.
To ensure that you don't end up with pit stains anymore, switch to an aluminum-free deodorant. Or wait for your deo to dry before putting a shirt on. That way, your top doesn't get too much of the product.
