A woman was on a holiday bike ride with her husband in the Mecklenberg-Western Pomerania area of Germany, when she felt a sudden, sharp pain in her chest. It turned out to be a stray bullet from a nearby wild boar hunt (yes, apparently that's a thing).
Miraculously, said bullet bounced straight off the underwire of the woman's bra and she escaped with minimal damage (severe bruising and a small blood clot, to be exact). A kindly passing motorist took her to a doctor shortly after the incident, where she was given the all-clear.
According to a local German newspaper, the couple had no idea they'd strayed into a field where a hunt would be taking place and the woman's husband immediately called for a ceasefire.
A spokesman from the police, Andre Falke, said those in charge of the hunt "immediately broke it up" when they realized what had happened.
The best bit? The bra has since been confiscated by police as evidence—they're investigating to see if action should be taken on the grounds of causing injury by negligence.
Good job bra, very well played. Bra-vo, simply bra-vellous, etc.
