This Cleaning Hack Can Make Your White Sneakers Look Brand New

We love a good cleaning trick, especially if it helps us bring old and worn clothing back to life. So now, we're adding "how to clean white sneakers" to our repertoire of clothes-fixing hacks, which also includes greats such as how to keep your zipper up and how to remove chocolate stains from your sleeves

This particular fast-fix trainer cleaning trick comes from Twitter user @sarahtraceyy who basically saw her Converse transformation go viral because so many people were impressed with her bright whites. 

Here's a pic of her before and after to show just how much of a difference the hack makes:


Thankfully, the way back to almost-new-looking Converse doesn't involve too much elbow grease at all. Sarah explained on Twitter that the method is simple:

"Ok rinse shoes, mix 1:1.5 of baking soda & detergent, scrub w toothbrush, let it sit for a while, rinse, put in washer, baby powder/dry"

While loads of people were keen to know the secret to Sarah's bright white Converse, there were a few people who suggested that the effort wasn't worth it.
