The wrong type of underwear can ruin even the most beautiful (and expensive) gown. Consider these factors when choosing your underthings for the Big Day:
What's your gown's material?
Underwear is especially critical if your wedding gown is made of light or flimsy material. If it uses fabrics like lace, chiffon, crepe, or silk, be sure to wear seamless undergarments—laser-cut panties and bras—to smooth out VPLs and bulges.
Does it match your skintone?
While colorful, patterned, or textured undergarments are fun and sexy, resist the urge to wear them with your wedding dress, because they might be seen in flash photography, or create unnecessary ripples in the fabric. Also, white may seem like a good choice, but we suggest to stick to beige or nude underwear.
Should you go strapless?
While some gowns come with built-in cups, there are also those that don't have padding. If you need bust support, opt for multi-way strapless brassieres that can accommodate a low back. Donning a bustier? Take advantage of the boning and support the top gives you and just wear stick-ons or those front-clasp silicone adhesive bras.
