Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid has always had a fascination for shoes.
Thanks to social media, her followers can now get a glimpse of her jaw-dropping shoe collection.
Regine recently revived her other Instagram account with the handle @fashionpicturest, which she initially created in 2016.
Back then, it only had three quote cards about fashion and shopping.
But recently, Reg asked her followers to start following that account, which now features styled snapshots featuring her growing collection of exquisite pairs of shoes.
In an interview with PEP.ph during the Manila leg audition of The Clash at SM North's Skydome, she exclaimed, "Hilig ko
At press time, the account has garnered over 16,00 followers and counting.
It looks like the star's shoe portfolio is well thought-out, as her posts seem to follow a theme.
Her first three shoe posts, seen below, all feature pairs of red ankle-strapped stilettos, from high-end designers (from left:) Christian Louboutin, Givenchy, and Sophia Webster.
Regine's next three posts feature decadent bejeweled block heels, all from Dolce and Gabbana, which she paired with hand-beaded socks and stockings from New York-based artist Lirika
The next set shows off Regine's more eclectic taste: three pairs of Gucci block heels, adorned with different embellishments such as studs, floral appliqués, or what look like snakes crawling up the heels.
The Kapuso star balances it out with her next trio of photos, featuring feminine and dainty pairs of pink stiletto sandals.
The first pair is from Prada. They're satin sandals with feathers and studded gold heels, which retail for $1,890 USD or P98,128.80 in today's exchange rate.
Kris Aquino and Georgina Wilson also have pairs from the same collection.
The next one is from Russian designer Aleksander Siradekian, known for his signature tassel or fringes on the heels of his designs.
Regine's pair also features bows on the upper and heel straps.
Her latest post is a Miu Miu pair that mixes dainty and playful, with its baby pink satin fabric, and bows and jewels as embellishments. It also has a unique heel tip, which is square-shaped as opposed to the usual round ones.
