We are still on a high from the ABS-CBN Ball (formerly known as the Star Magic Ball), and we can't help but relive the pictures from Saturday night! There were a lot of celebs that caught our eye, with their custom-made barong and terno, and also a lot of candid moments that made the event a lot more special.

Most of the attendees at the ball made their OOTDs do all the talking. They let their natural beauty shine through with a softly made-up face and a loose chignon with a few tendrils framing the face.

Anthea was inspired by the models and the people at New York Fashion Week, who had little to no base makeup at all. "Instagram makeup" wasn't a thing anymore, and everyone basically employed a "less is more" mindset when it comes to cosmetics.

"Dreamy" and "grown-up" were the two words that came to mind when Anthea saw Leila's gown, so she wanted to be able to showcase those two sides through the simple but elegant makeup look.

For Leila's base, Anthea used La Mer The Moisturizing Matte Lotion to hydrate the skin without making it look greasy, followed by Dior Backstage Face and Body primer, and then NARS Laguna Liquid Bronzer on her eyelids and cheeks to give some definition. Finally, since Leila's gown was pretty muted, a pop of color was needed and Chanel Poudre à Lèvres Lip Balm & Powder Duo in the shade 415 Rosso Parthenope did just the trick.

Now that's definitely a "no makeup" makeup look. ;)
