The internet's ~president~ has always been vocal in her beliefs regarding beauty standards. In a recent interview with Tabo Takes, Nadine shared that she does not agree with the misconception that darker skin is not beautiful.

Like many Pinays, Nadine shared that she didn't like her skin color growing up and even admitted that she took glutathione in the past to make it brighter

"I think when I was about 13, people would say that I was too dark. When I would go to auditions, they would only cast girls who are mestiza or have lighter skin. It became an insecurity of mine and I really want to like the whole thing where you do gluta. You use like whitening soap, you scrub calamansi on your body or lemon," she divulged.

But then, as Nadine grew older, she learned to love the skin she's in and appreciate what her body. By posting about her flaws so unapologetically, she's inspired many of her followers to do the same!

"As I grew up, I learned to just love the skin that I'm in and to just appreciate the beauty that I have. When I travel to France, people really like my skin color. They would always say, 'Damn, I wish I could get your tan.' People just like what they don't have," she concluded.
