Andi Eigenmann Shared Her First Post-Preggy Body Update And Is In No Rush To Get Back To Exercising

Andi Eigenmann is in no hurry to get back to working out.

On July 24, the surfer mom gave birth to baby number two with her partner Philmar Alipayo. The couple gave the first glimpse of their daughter, baby Lilo, whose full name is Keliana Alohi Eigenmann Alipayo, on Instagram.

Andi bared her post-pregnancy body in her latest body update, taken just 48 hours after she gave birth to Lilo via Caesarean section. The actress noted that most of the moms who talk about their post-preggy comeback fitness routines had normal deliveries.

"Been thinking about project comeback and creating my fitness plan for after I recover from my C-section, but I am not in a hurry to start again as I'm still busy obsessing over my super cute newborn and also, healing is the first step! As a C-section mom, we shouldn’t need to be in such a hurry to get back into exercising because it will be easier to do that once we let ourselves recover completely by getting the rest we need in between caring for [our] baby," Andi shared.

She also mentioned how breastfeeding is enough exercise at the moment. At the end of the day, she stressed how important it is for moms to take their time to rest and recover, but to keep moving.

"Rest doesn't mean being completely immobile. Just means we shouldn't overdo anything. Walking is definitely a great idea," she added.

Throughout her pregnancy, Andi has made healthy lifestyle changes and channeled body positivity, being very open about her body and her weight struggles

Andi first revealed being pregnant with her second baby in February. Her older daughter Ellie's dad is her ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito.
