Royal baby Archie Harrison made his world debut at an official royal engagement. The fourmonth old joined his parents, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, as they met the Archbishop Desmond Tutu in Cape Town, South Africa.
It was the first time we've had real, proper access to Archie and while, sure, we were taken with the fact he was wearing an H&M Baby oufit (cute AND a bargain) there was something else we noticed. That Archie looks exactly like his dad, Prince Harry, did when he was a baby.
And don't just take my word for it, check out the photographic evidence.
So here's baby Archie today, on his mum Meghan's lap, his brown eyes gazing directly down the camera as he inevitably thinks, WTF is that thing, and can I put it in my mouth?
And here's Prince Harry, a little older than Archie in this photograph, at eight-months-old, pictured in May 1985 on the deck of the Royal Yacht Britannia in Venice.
Need a side-by-side to be convinced?
Tell me they're not identical... the shape of the face, the lips, the little button nose...
Another picture of Prince Harry, this time as a one-year-old, also bears a striking resemblance to his baby son.
No wonder Prince Harry looks at Archie so lovingly; he's a total mini-me (and an adorable one at that).
During one of the Sussexes' visits on their royal tour of Africa, Meghan and Harry revealed how baby Archie coped with the 11-hour flight from London to Cape Town.
"They said it was the longest flight they have taken with Archie. She slept with one eye open—but he was very good," a guest who met the Duke and Duchess revealed.
Another person who chatted to the new parents told interviewers, "Harry said he slept on his chest almost 11 hours (during the flight)."
What a chill little baby Archie is—and a happy-looking one at that. It's nice to finally hear (and see) more of the royal family's youngest member.
