Coleen Garcia shared that she almost didn't make it to the 2018 ABS-CBN Ball because she had food poisoning, passed out, and missed her connecting flight to Manila from Bangkok. A basher saw this as an opportunity to leave a nasty comment: "Question: kailangan ba ang presensya mo sa ball? I think no one would notice if you were there or not. Sana nagpahinga ka na lang wala naman makaka-miss."

Coleen left the classiest clap back ever: "Hindi po. I just really wanted to be there! I didn't wanna miss it over food poisoning, and I wasn't gonna let all the stress steal my joy that day."

Bertiz said he was having his "monthly period" as an excuse for his bad behavior at NAIA. His "defensive" statement has caused an uproar online, adding to the critcism he has received for his viral vid. On Tuesday, October 3, Bertiz apologized in an interview with CNN Philippines' The Source: "Naging dialogue ko na lang 'yon sa wife ko pag may topak: 'monthly period ba ngayon?'
