During Dominic Roque's guesting on Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos' podcast, he opened up about how his *kilig* relationship with Bea Alonzo started. But get this: He also talked about being his career and how much he loves his fam.
Dominic shared that at 17 years old, after graduating high school, he already started working! "Umalis ako sa amin, naghanap ako ng work to help my family, hindi nawala yung pursige to work, to find jobs everywhere." He said that his first job was selling cakes from the bakeshop Purple Oven, and Gabbi recalled that he was even a Candy Cutie! At present, Dominic has his own digital marketing and social media management company called Black Peak Hypermedia.
When Gabbi and Khalil asked him for advice for those in their twenties, he said: "Enjoy what you have now, pero kailangan mo pa rin magtrabaho, double, triple. Kasi dumating ako sa point ng life ko before na, yes nag-eenjoy ako kung ano yung mayroon ako, pero puwede mo rin sigurong gawin an mag-hussle ng todo ng early twenties mo, hanggang mid, hanggang late twenties—habang nag-eenjoy ka."
Dominic, who is currently 31, says he hopes to retire at 40 years old, and that he wants to spend time with his ~*future*~ kids! "Mayroon pa akong nine years to work...Para pagdating ko ng 40, ma-enjoy ko yung [time] with my family or with my kids. Na may money ako for this, masusuportahan ko yung family ko, matutulungan ko yung parents ko."

"Doon sa buong journey ko, hanggang today, simula noong 17 years old ako, ang motivation ko sa buhay ko is to help my family," he added. "My fuel in life is yung dalawang kapatid kong mas bata. Kasi gusto ko silang makapag-aral, maging okay. So that time, everyday,'yon talaga yung fuel ko, and then my mom, siyempre my dad. All throughout my journey, sila yung dala-dala ko sa buhay ko, parang 'yon yung purpose ko noong time na 'yon." Awww, we can't get over how inspiring Dominic is!
In the podcast, Dominic also talked about taking a break from showbiz to focus on his business and being a content creator but clarified that he's not closing his doors on acting.
