Tale Of The Nine-Tailed tells the story of a gumiho named Yi Yeon (Lee Dong Wook), who has been alive for more than a thousand years and who's looking for the reincarnation of his first love. He is pursued by a producer for an urban fantasy show named Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah), while his half-brother Yi Rang (Kim Bum) is the show's main antagonist.

*That* umbrella scene
In Episode 1, on his way to a wedding, Yi Yeon made an entrance that reminded viewers of Gong Yoo's scene in Goblin! I mean...they both had umbrellas and it was raining, so this can't be a coincidence.
When Yi Rang described Yi Yeon
In the show, Kim Bum's character Yi Rang sat down for an interview to talk about his brother, saying: "He never ages or dies, like goblins or aliens you see in movies."
When Yi Yeon talked about grim reapers
"You even posted a comment on their website that the grim reaper's outfit was all wrong," his veterinarian friend told him during a conversation about Ji Ah's urban fantasy legends show. Yi Yeon replied: "I know grim reapers well." OF COURSE, YOU DO!
