The second annual ABS-CBN ball—formerly known as the Star Magic Ball—is happening tomorrow night, September 14, 2019, at the Shangri-La The Fort Hotel. The theme for this year's ball is "Modern Filipiniana"—a welcome change from the previous years.
Last year's ball had no theme, which allowed stars, stylists, and designers to be as fun, daring, and creative as possible with their ~lewks~.
Here are the best red carpet fashion moments from last year that literally made our jaws drop:

Nadine Lustre and James Reid
JaDine made their ABS-CBN ball debut last year, and they definitely didn't disappoint in the fashion department. Nadine Lustre sizzled in a black sparkly Garimon Roferos creation, while James Reid amped up his detailed tux from Michael Cinco with a leather harness.
Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil
Liza Soberano made our jaws drop when she sported the cutest bangs for the occasion, and gave us summer in September vibes in vintage Alexander McQueen. Enrique Gil kept things interesting with his Balmain suit, with his disheveled hair, leather pants, and gold chains.Continue reading below ↓
Erich Gonzales looked like a vision in this Vania Romoff creation. The white satin gown perfectly hugged her curves and looked as if it was effortlessly draped on her body. She finished off this classic, timeless look with an elegant updo and drop earrings.Continue reading below ↓
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim
Kim Chiu looked like the belle of the ball in this black Michael Cinco ball gown with dreamy butterfly details. Her outfit did all the talking, so she kept things simple with pearl drop earrings and a super sleek chignon. Xian Lim veered away from the classic black tux and opted for an embroidered blue Francis Libiran suit, which complemented Kim's outfit really well. Needless to say, Kim and Xian looked like a power couple in their matching outfits.
Anne Curtis stunned in a simple custom-made black Monique Lhuillier gown that was a welcome change from the heavily-embellished gowns of her co-stars, but it was Anne's starry headpiece by Jennifer Behr that got people talking.
Vice Ganda gave us MET Gala 2018 (Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination) realness in this Michael Cinco gown with a long, dramatic cape that featured a stained glass window design usually found in churches. Vice topped off this dramatic outfit with a long, wavy blonde wig and a golden crown of thornes.Continue reading below ↓
