Jane De Leon, who will soon be playing Darna, responded to bashers saying that she can’t act and doesn’t deserve to play the heroine. On Tonight With Boy Abunda, she told her haters who claim that she’s only a pretty face to just wait and see.

She added, “Hindi ko in-expect itong proyektong ito. Nagpapasalamat ako sa mga nakakataas na may nakita silang potential at pinagkatiwalaan nila ako. Siyempre ayaw ko silang ma-disappoint.”

The actress also addressed the issue that she’s supposedly a “maldita.” Jane said that may be the typical first impression of her, but it’s more likely that she’s just tired or sleepy. She added, “Lumalaban lang po ako ‘pag tama.”
