In a recent episode of Magandang Buhay, The Killer Bride co-stars Janella Salvador and Joshua Garcia were asked to dish out advice for each other concerning their love life.
When asked if they’ve ever bonded outside of work, Joshua shared that they’ve spent time together through workshops and work trips outside of Manila.
Janella and Joshua shared that as they were going home from Davao for a taping, they got hungry at the airport. Joshua invited Janella for breakfast but he didn’t have cash, so Janella ended up footing the bill. The actress added that they enjoy treating each other to local street food like kwek-kwek, fishballs, and lomi.
The hosts of Magandang Buhay what their advice for each other would be in terms of love, Janella said, “Actually, open kami sa isa’t-isa.” She continued, “May konting advice kami na binibigay sa isa’t-isa, pero more on sharing lang, parang we’re just there to listen to each other.”
Host Jolina Magdangal asked, “Kung magbibigay ka kay [Joshua] ng advice, ano ito?”
“Magdala ka ng cash sa airport,” Janella joked. Getting more serious, Janella said to Joshua, “Siguro alam ko kasi Josh na marami ka nang natutunan based on your experiences, you’ve grown a lot since you started [showbusiness], be wise, protect your heart, and use your experiences and what you’ve learned for the better.”
Joshua and Janella are love team partners on The Killer Bride which stars Maja Salvador. The teleserye is Joshua and Janella’s first on-screen team-up where Joshua plays Janella’s love interest named Elias.
