About the baby girl's name, the GMA-7 actress remarked, "I'm pretty sure they have it already, but they haven't shared it with us para hindi muna magasgas.
"It's their own little secret muna."
Jasmine spoke with PEP.ph during an interview at an event on February 28, a few days before Anne gave birth to her daughter in Australia.
"Naka-standby mode na ako," the GMA-7 actress had said. "The day after she gives birth, I'll go straight there and make sure I get to spend a few hours or, hopefully, a day or two."
Anne and husband Erwan Heussaff welcomed their baby girl on March 2, 2020.
The Descendants Of The Sun actress plans to fly to Melbourne this coming Holy Week break so she can spend more time with her niece.
"But for the meantime, it will just be a quick visit for when she gives birth," Jasmine reiterated.
Jasmine recalled the casual manner Anne announced her pregnancy to the family.
"She waited for my mom to get here because we were both swamped with work.
"So, what she did was, kasi ayaw niya muna i-reveal sa public before my mom or any of our family members know.
"We had Sunday lunch and we were mid-conversation and all of the sudden she was like, 'Yeah, and so, yeah, in three months when I have a baby coming out of me.'"
Jasmine was surprised.
She said then: "'Oh, wait lang, wait lang, hindi ko narinig iyong part ng conversation na iyon. What did you say?'
"And then, that's how she unraveled the beautiful blessing of the family.
"And then she told the world right after that lunch."
Anne and Erwan revealed the happy news in November 2019.
