11 Things You Need To Know About 'Backstreet Rookie' Heartthrob Ji Chang Wook

K-drama heartthrob Ji Chang Wook has been giving us so much kilig since the 2010s—I mean, that face is distractingly beautiful, amiright?! And it looks like he won't be stopping anytime soon 'cause he'll be back on the small screen with the new SBS drama Backstreet Rookie. But before we start obsessing over him again every week, here's a quick rundown of fun facts every newbie Chang Wook fan should know.

1. His birthday is on July 5, 1987, which makes him 32 years old!

2. He's a freakin' HARD WORKER! Chang Wook's been acting in dramas every single year since his TV debut in 2008 up until 2017, the year he enlisted in the military. He now has 14 drama titles under his belt. WHOA.

3. He actually started his acting career in musical theatre. While in the military in 2018, he went back to his theatre roots when he starred in Shinheung Military Academy Musical alongside Kang Ha Neul and Infinite's Sunggyu.

4. Yup, his singing chops are legit 'cause he's released a few singles, too! They're mostly K-drama OSTs, like "When Love Passes By" from his 2019 drama Melting Me Softly.

5. He absolutely *loves* riding his bikes. His current obsession is the Ducati MH900e.

6. He's unapologetically an eomma's boy! Having lost his dad at a young age and being an only child, Chang Wook and his mama's relationship grew to be tighter than ever. They even live together up until now, aww.
