"Wala pong katotohanan"—that's what Julia Barretto told ABS-CBN News when asked if she was really involved in the *confrontation* between her mom, Marjorie Barretto, and her aunts, Gretchen and Claudine, that resulted in Claudine being hospitalized.
The past few weeks have been really hard on the 22-year-old actress, what with her grandfather's passing and the feud between the older members of her family. During the press con for her new project with Tony Labrusca, I Am U, a somber Julia spoke about her family's issues for the first time, although she refused to give details.
"Wala po kasi akong kinalaman diyan e." Julia shared. "Hindi ko po masasagot yung mga tanong tungkol sa kanila kasi nga po, it's not my battle. Hindi ko po siya laban." She reiterated that even though she wanted to explain her side, she "didn't have the right" to speak for any of the Barretto sisters. Julia also stressed that she had no involvement whatsoever in the alleged physical fight between Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine.
Julia is praying for the issue to be resolved soon: "I'll be praying for them. Pero for now, my energy, my time, I would like to spend it on the blessings that I have been receiving. God has been so good."
Last week, after Julia wrote a message of support on her mom's Instagram post, Julia's aunt Gretchen unleashed a series of Instagram Stories directed at her, even saying: "The most dangerous liars are those who think they are telling the truth."
