The universe has given us one thing to celebrate this year, you guys. Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre are now following each other on Instagram!
We don't know when it exactly happened but after a series of photos and videos where the two were spotted hanging out, fans were found crying (in a good way). They were especially ecstatic when the eagle-eyed fans noted how the two have become Instagram mutuals.
It's probably a simple thing to some, but for Nadine and Kath stans, it's a big deal. Because...what do you mean the two most sought-after actresses of their generation are now possibly getting closer with each other? Right? Plus, after their respective love-team eras, fans have been manifesting a project that'll break the Internet with their acting prowess.
Aside from becoming IG mutuals, let's talk about all the moments that actually gave happiness and excitement to every Nadine and Kathryn fan over the past week. As we all know, the two actresses are very close to beauty dermatologist and Cosmopolitan Philippines Women of Influence 2024 awardee, Dr. Aivee Teo. Dr. Aivee just held a birthday bash last September 5th, and of course, it was a star-studded event.

Kathryn and Nadine posed together for a photo and it instantly became a highlight of Dr. Aivee's birthday party. Of course, they also snapped a pic with the birthday girl herself. There was so much power and talent in one photo—and it's probably a rare moment for the public to witness. There was also a video of Nadine fixing Kathryn's hair before snapping a photo and our hearts just melted. LOL!
This also isn't the first time that they were spotted at Dr. Aivee's birthday. NGL, we're thankful for the yearly reunion at the birthday party. Last September 15, 2023, Dr. Aivee also posted a photo of her with Kathryn and Nadine. The three were smiling so wide and having absolute fun all together!

With fans ~longing~ to have that Kathryn-Nadine project, they've always been asked about the possibility of working together. In January 2024, Nadine actually expressed her openness to work with Kathryn and possibly Maris Racal, too—even if it's for a GL (a.k.a. girls' love) project.
"Let's see. I don't know if I'm ready for a movie like that. Ako naman, I'm always leaning towards a good script. If it is always a good script, down naman ako to do it," Nadine told INQUIRER.net when asked about the possible GL movie.
In case you forgot, Kathryn and Nadine are both homegrown talents of Star Magic, before Nadine transferred. They were both given flagship shows where they showcased their undeniably amazing acting skills. Kathryn and Nadine were both a part of love teams, KathNiel and JaDine, respectively.
As of the moment, the two have been focusing on their solo careers and exploring the film industry (as well as the music industry for Nadine). Kathryn just had her first dark comedy film, A Very Good Girl, while Nadine left everyone in awe and total shock with her recent psycho-thriller film, Deleter.
