On November 11, the Kardashians rolled into the People’s Choice Awards, which, duh. This thing aired on E!, AKA Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ home network. They basically had to be there. And while America’s First Family seemed totally game to walk the carpet, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé had a pretty awkward interview with E!’s very own Giuliana Rancic. Like, I felt tense and I wasn’t even there.
The moment went down when Giuliana asked the sisters who they were wearing. Kourtney attempted to answer, saying, “I didn’t plan this—Naeem Khan? Is that how you say it?” before Kim cut her off, leaned in front of her, and said, “All that matters is that we’re wearing KKW Diamonds! That’s all that—we’re all wearing that.”
Kim then told Kourtney, “I was saving you since you didn’t know who you were wearing,” and Kourtney tried to be all, “No, it’s Naeem Khan, I just didn’t know how to pronounce it.” Kim’s response to that was quite literally, “Oh.”
This moment comes on the heels of news that Kourtney will be taking a step back from Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She told Entertainment Tonight, “I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there. But I’m not saying goodbye. But I think you’ll have to see more of it in the new season, season 18. It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.”
