Kylie Padilla And Aljur Abrenica Celebrate Alas Joaquin's 4th Birthday

Kylie said, 'Sometimes, it's the simplest things that matter.'

Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica's eldest son Alas Joaquin turned four on August 4 and both parents each took to their Instagram accounts to wish their son a happy birthday.

Kylie said in a post, "To the boy who made me mama. To the boy that changed my life. To the boy that gave me purpose and opened up my heart. To the boy who introduced me to a better version of me. Mahal kita, kuya."

In a separate post, Kylie shared the simple birthday celebration she prepared for Alas. The actress revealed that they originally planned to go camping but due to the ECQ, she decided to celebrate Alas' birthday at home.

Meanwhile, Aljur shared video clips of his bonding moments with his eldest son. There are clips showing Aljur and Alas snuggling and even sharing ice tubig. The actor wrote, "Nagpapasalamat ako sa blessing na binigay ka sa amin ni Ama. Wala akong mahiling dahil kabutihan at kalinawan ang dinulot mo sa buhay namin."

"Proud ako sa'yo, hindi ko maipaliwanag kahit musmos ka pa. Bilang isang Tatay, marami akong matututunan pa sa'yo. Mahal na mahal kita at patuloy akong mabubuhay ng malakas, matatag at mabuting ama para sa'yo," Aljur added. 

Aside from Alas Joaquin, Kylie and Aljur also have a second son named Axl Romeo. In July 2021, Kylie confirmed that she had split up with Aljur. Kylie's dad, Robin Padilla, also revealed that the actress broke up with Aljur and that a third party was involved. Speaking up on his split with Kylie, Aljur said, "So for everyone’s sake—my kids, myself—I will always choose to be happy because if I'm not okay, everything else won't be."
