There is no doubt that Lee Min Ho is one of our OG K-drama faves. He's so versatile that he can play roles in different genres, thus making him able to capture a whole range of audiences. Our favorite kind of Lee Min Ho dramas, however, have to be romantic ones, specifically, the kind comes with a lot of...kissing, LOL!
Without further ado, here's a list of Lee Min Ho's best kissing scenes:
1. Legend Of The Blue Sea (2017)
This was probably one of the hottest and most talked-about kisses in 2017 that "Lee Min Ho's tongue" actually trended on Twitter back then. Legend Of The Blue Sea, a fantasy romance between a mermaid and a conman, was the last drama Lee Min Ho starred in before enlisting in the military in May 2017. As for his leading lady, Jun Ji Hyun, this was her first drama after she gave birth to her first son in 2016.
2. Personal Taste (2010)
IMO, Lee Min Ho and Son Ye Jin's kiss is the ~steamiest~ on this list! In one scene, Park Kae In (Son Ye Jin) tells Jeon Jin Ho (Lee Min Ho) that she doesn't mind being ~used~ by him because she simply couldn't part with him just yet. In Personal Taste, Park Kae In offers Jeon Jin Ho to room with her in her Sanggojae (a hanok in Bukchon Village)—only because she thinks he's gay.
3. City Hunter (2011)
Being romantically involved with a co-worker is already difficult in itself—what more if you're both working in national security? This is exactly the dilemma of Lee Yoon Sung (Lee Min Ho) and Kim Na Na (Park Min Young), which is why they were led to this emotional and intense rooftop kiss.
4. "Kiss" by Dara (2009)
We just had to include honorary Pinay Sandara Park on this list! ICYDK, Lee Min Ho and Dara were chosen as brand endorsers for Korean beer brand Cass in 2009. For their promotion, they both starred in the music video for Dara's song "Kiss" where they, in fact, kissed!
5. Boys Over Flowers (2009)
Boys Over Flowers was the drama where almost everybody first discovered and fell in love with Lee Min Ho. In the drama, F4 leader Gu Jun Pyo (Lee Min Ho) found the love he longed for in his classmate Gem Jan Di (Ku Hye Sun) and her family. Their kiss was made even more meaningful because it was a sweet and tender first love's kiss.
6. The King: Eternal Monarch (2020)
The King: Eternal Monarch is Lee Min Ho's latest drama and the first he's starred in after getting discharged from the military in 2019. Coming from two parallel worlds, Emperor Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) and Detective Jung Tae Eul (Kim Go Eun) share an intimate moment in Lee Gon's palace chambers. True to their easy-going dynamics, Tae Eul bickers and teases Lee Gon, but instead of a cheeky rebuttal, he dives in and plants a kiss on her neck.
