There's no doubt that Lee Min Ho and Woo Do Hwan's on-screen bromance on The King: Eternal Monarch also turned into a deep off-screen friendship.

After wrapping up eight months of shooting for the drama last month, it was quickly announced that Do Hwan would be enlisting for his mandatory military service on July 6 (which is today, btw!). And based on their Instagram activity, it seems that the two friends had a pre-enlistment celebration for Do Hwan!

On Insta, Min Ho posted two photos affectionately hugging his ~Unbreakable Sword~ and his newly shaven head. According to Soompi, he addressed Do Hwan by his character's name Jo Young, and wrote, "Young, I hope that now you can become the best shooter in the field."

Do Hwan also posted the same photos and captioned them by referring to Min Ho as "Your Majesty"a nod to his character, Emperor Lee Gon: "I will go and come back, Your Majesty."

While we don't know where exactly Do Hwan will be stationed for his service (his agency announced that details would be kept under wraps), we're familiar with how long their service usually lasts, which is two years. Min Ho, on his part, worked as a public service officer from May 2017 to April 2019 at the Suseo Social Welfare Center in Gangnam District Office for his enlistment.

For now, we're just wishing Do Hwan good luck in the next two years and we cannot wait for him and his ~Pyeha~ to be reunited again!
