22-year-old singer Leila Alcasid, who brought us "I'm Not," "Someday Paradise," and "Completely In Love," is back with a new song!
"Better Together" opens with: "You brought the better weather/ I was barely keeping it together." Aww! The rest of the track features a hopeful, super in love vibe that talks about the beginnings of a relationship and wanting to ~*love someone right*~.
Leila is currently in a relationship with Mito Fabie aka rapper Curtismith, and fans are gushing over the song and saying that it "has Mito written all over it!" The track is part of Leila's upcoming album, also entitled Better Weather, which will feature a collection of 16 songs Leila wrote herself. Listen to it here:
In December 2019, Leila and her stepmom Regine Velasquez appeared in a "heart to heart" vlog, where they talked about a turning point in their relationship. Leila grew up in Australia and during her first year back in the PH in 2017, she admitted that she had a hard time adjusting. During her "party phase," Leila and Regine had an unexpected cry sesh and realized just how much they cared about each other.
